Anybody on a Diet needs to Stay away A fine Feast, I have done a few times and everytime it turns out different, Never the same, but always GOOD Blackened River Catfish, or Bass Fillets Fried Green Maters, with Squash and Onions Home tossed Salad Ice Cold Sweetened Tea, or Cold Beer is even Better Best fish is fresh Caught, but use what you got, or even a Roasted Chicken 1st thing you need is a large Well Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet Get Blackening Season and Blacken cook the fish Next Slice up Green Tomatoes, Yellow Crook Neck Squash and an onion Beat up a couple eggs in a bowl, Dip Tomatoes, and Squash, and onions in the egg, thiss is to make the batter stick better Next take a couple cups of Corn meal, mix 75% Corn meal and 25% flour, and black pepper, garlic, Italian Seasoning all to taste, after dipping all slices in egg, then roll in dry batter mix, now in Cast iron skillet, mix a little real butter with hot oil, stir fry or deep fry, tomatoes, squash, and onions together Now for the salad Make a good salad with veggies of your choice or cucumbers, chopped ripe tomatoes, pepperoni, raisins (believe it or not) chopped pineapple, extra sharp New York cheddar cheese shredded, Shrimp, crumbled up boiled eggs, and the stinkiest blue cheese dressing you can find. If you can find some, get some Steamed Cajun Crayfish to use in the salad instead of Shrimp Make sure to put up any pets, because if you glance off, They will help Themselves, Just last Week Dixie had two thick RibEyes she helped her self to straight off a Hot Grill, She eat good that night :angry: Now that is a Feast, anybody should Love
