Because of Corporate Names, being Copyrighted. Trademarks, Registered Trademarks, We can't infringe upon these, I have received a Warning from the Forum Host about this, for me to keep the Forum Free and unpaid, Even on a Paid site I can't do this, that is why some post have been removed. Make all your titles Home made or with your name on them. Don't use a Corporations Name please! I have been Warned I don't want to lose the Forum I'm sorry about this, but it is how it is They can be mentioned in a thread/post, but you Must give them credit for what is theirs and Protected under law. We can use their Name/Names, but Must give them the Credit Pleas, this is Really a Home Recipe Site, For what is prepared At Home. Let's keep it that way, and Avoid Legal Trouble. I can't Afford it! Thank You for Understanding I Love You All

This is hard to understand and enforce.
I'd wager that the Weight Watcher Caramel Cookies were a clone or copycat and used a completely different manufacturing process.
Similarly, can I post a recipe for sliders with dehydrated onions and a pickle slice? Can I call it a Krystal copycat? There are numerous sites that have recipes for copycat recipes.

Jim you are correct but the names are protected under law and as I explained to Sally, you have to give them the credit for what is theirs

That doesn't answer the question. Can I post:
Copycat Krystal Burger
Cook a hamburger with some dehydrated onions that have been re-hydrated. Steam a bun. Put the hamburger on the bun and add a dill pickle slice.

Yes you can post it. but DON'T call it a Krystal Yes, it does answer the question! Don't use Corporate names. If I want a Krystal or a White Castle, McDonald's, or Burger King I'll drive down the road and get the thing, I'm not wanting Copy Cat Recipes here, and not have the clean up afterwards Copyrights and Patents are protected under the law, If you call them Sliders or what ever you choose, change the name, make it your own, that is fine. but Krystal, Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy"s, Jack in The Box, or whom ever is a protected by Law
